Scout & Cellar Wine Consultant Leanne Sutton and I are teaming up to give the women and men (yes, there are men in this organization despite the name) some tasty oenology and history! Leanne will explain what her clean wines are all about while offering samples to sip. I’ll talk about WWI, its lasting impact, the modern advances borne out of it, and my path to becoming an author who wanted to write about this fascinating period in our history. PWN, a long-lived organization, exists to “connect, support, and empower women on their professional journey.” But this social event is focused on connecting through knowledge and libations.
